New Zealand’s Aviation Security Service (Avsec) has selected Q-Pulse to enhance their safety, security and quality management system following a competitive tender process. Avsec provides specialised aviation security services in New Zealand and last year screened 10 million passengers at eight security-designated airports, including international and domestic operations. In critical times for the aviation sector, regulatory and public demand for effective aviation security provision has never been higher. Avsec identified Q-Pulse as a solution that would efficiently manage the increasing levels of information passing through their system. Q-Pulse is already widely used across the aviation sector by more than 250 airlines, airports, MROs, ATCs and regulators to manage quality processes and safety management systems. Warren Tatham, Manager, Quality and Audit at Avsec said of the deal: ‘Q-Pulse satisfied every requirement of our original specification. Furthermore, the ability to customise our installation was a crucial factor as the system can be set up to fit our very specific needs.’ Tatham continued: ‘Incidents, occurrences and audit reports are all captured and centralised in a consistent format whilst significant time-savings have been made during the analysis and reporting of data. Robin Telfer, Aviation Application Specialist at Gael Ltd said: ‘We are delighted to be working with Avsec to help them streamline their Quality, Security and Safety management system. What is particularly pleasing is that Q-Pulse was selected on the back of a rigorous selection process, proving that it is the best Safety & Quality management solution on the market for the aviation sector.’ For further information please contact: Michele Agnew Marketing Manager Gael Ltd +44 (0) 1355 593400 michelea@gaelquality.com
